I remember a peculiar print shown on TV in recent years (relatively - maybe 12 ou 13 years go) with superb credits written in French ("Le Fantôme de l'Opéra"). These credits, with the title partially animated, were certainly made by Universal, probably in Hollywood...
You'd think then we'd have seen something of them though right? I know on video the British DVDs have been derived from the 29. It's odd a film this popular is also this "lost" in 35mm form.
