GONE WITH THE WEST is, indeed, a weird thing.  As you say, it's primarily a comedy, but Stefanie Powers starts off the movie being gang-raped in the middle of a western street as the townspeople gawk and cheer, and spends the rest of the movie as a silent, traumatized -- but somewhat playful -- victim.  But, still, it's mainly a comedy.  Very, very weird.

Is there any way Waterhole # 3 could qualify? It has a hero (all right, anti-hero) who's a rapist, and only the "degree" of it is uncertain. But - almost the only thing that could qualify it would be if the girl were on a very dramatic revenge campaign (as in Hannie Caulder). Instead, her whole attitude is pictured as comical wounded pride! (That's one movie remake I'm NOT expecting any time soon.)
