I guess by now most everyone has seen Robert Osbourne's TCM announcements that he'll be back on camera starting December. He looks surprisingly fit considering his recent rather tired appearances so hopefully he has made a full recovery. Frankly, I didn't think much of his celebrity replacements, most of whom are in dire need of cue card reading lessons (Tippi Hedren and Jane Powell, both of whom I genuinely like, are two rather egregious examples). The one exception is critic David Edelstein who obvious very knowledgeable and even looks as if he might have done a bit of his own research based on the couple of segments I saw. I didn't catch any of Leonard Maltin's intros but I'm sure he did his usual more-than-competent job.
