They have a host every day for the 8pm movie and usually the three that follow. However, if they schedule two epics such as LAWRENCE OF ARABIA and BEN-HUR back-to-back, don't expect to see a host for the third film that night.

On Saturday and Sunday, there is a daytime host, Ben Mankiewicz, who gets the noon-8pm shift.

>>I like when I record some obscure Noir or horror and then get to see what teaser talk they come up with for it.

You should have been around for the Hammer fest last year. Each Friday there were four titles and at least one piece of misinformation on each of those nights. I don't care if they're reading from cue cards, but I do wish that someone would be responsible enough to double-check the info given to Osborne or whomever is delivering the intro. My suggestion was and still is that the staff footnote the info given to the host. This way, something such as citing Hammer on two different nights as the production company for the Fu Manchu films is less likely to happen.

Or saying that Peter Cushing played Baron Frankenstein in all seven Hammer Frankenstein films.  Or continually referring to Dr. Quartermass. Each goof on its own is minor, I admit that, but collectively they indicate that little is being done to keep the supposed expert from looking a bit less knowledgeable. As Osborne is by circumstance TCM's star attraction, it just bugs me that his handlers are so careless.
