Scottish remorse, Tom? Join the club! The Proud, The Cheap, The Scottish!!!

Nahhh, it ain't nuts to recycle this way, but I take cheap to a new level of conservative:

Last week, three ... THREE of our major appliances crapped out. Washer, dryer, microwave.
THANK GAWD for YouTube®. Fixed 'em all with no tech guy stealing my time and money.

Now, the fun part. Price it.

Give up? $19.50. Yep, you read right. UNDER $20. Total time? Approx 4 hours.

DRYER: New belt. Cost? $9 + change.
WASHER: New agitator nuts. Cost? $2.70 + shipping.
MiCROWAVE: New magnetron. Cost? Free, under 10 year warranty.

Do I know how to do this stuff? Nope, but circumstances dictate action.
So, ya bite yer bottom lip, cross yer fingers and roll up yer sleeves and git ta work.

Bottom Line: Recycling paper or appliances ain't cheap, it's thrifty, efficient, and responsible.

For ONCE't, the iNet SAVED me money. How's 'bout them apples?
