Like many who have commented before, I too was very disappointed in the ending of this flick, but up until that point it was very atmospheric and creepy. Just about anything with Richard Boone was worth a look in my opinion. This movie still seems to strike a chord with a lot of people, not unlike other films such as "These Are the Damned". Something about these late-fifties, early sixties black-and-white hidden gems seem to stick with ya.

This movie is still pretty good, in spite of the ending.
