This was fairly entertaining but it would have worked better as an episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE than as a feature. As has already been touched upon , the entire premise of the film is a HUGE lapse in logic. The scientist tells Colter that it isn't time travel and that he is reliving the consciousness of the last 8 minutes of the other man's life. He's told he can't change the past or save any people. In that case, Colter would be unable to discover any information that the dead man didn't experience. He couldn't find the bomb or the bomber unless that was already part of the dead man's experiences. He would experience the exact same 8 minutes every time and any deviations from what happened originally could only sprout from his imagination. This being the case as asserted by the scientists who sent him, why would they keep sending him and tell him to search for the bomber unless it were some alternate reality which the scientist clearly doesn't believe is the case? The entire premise of the film is flawed and doesn't work. The only way to fix this problem would have a reveal that the scientist somehow did in fact know that these were alternate realities that were being created and chose to lie and hide that fact. Of course, that creates a different issue in that how could he possibly know that?
5 out of 10 stars from me.
