I'm attempting to assemble a nearly uncut, virtual workprint using the Thai VCD and the German DVD (or better sources if I can find them). Is the Thai DVD any different from the VCD? Where should the scene of Dr. Akom meeting the crocodile expert go, and is there any footage only found in the Hong Kong print? What language is spoken in this HK print?

Also, I have a Dutch-subtitled version of the film and expected it to be the international version, but while it opens up with the naked babes getting eaten, it ends like the US version.

It must be noted that the recent German DVD under the title "Der Horror-Alligator: Das letzte Kapitel" uses a 35mm print of the slightly shorter US version (there is a disclaimer before the film noting this).  The US, German and Dutch releases all omit a shot of a lifejacket washing ashore after the crocodile explodes which can be found on the Greek and French versions.

I'm not sure, either. Since the international version is so dizzily edited during the water buffalo scene and because the Thai version is so dark during the same scene, I'm leaving it the way it is on the Thai VCD.

Looking at the Japanese VHS, the water buffalo scene is set at night as well.  The beginning also has narration in Chinese explaining why the crocodile(s) got so damn big in the first place.
