Black Nylon Museum! My best selling issue ever, and still selling very well as reprints. Say what we will, many men love to look at lovely Brit/Hammer ladies in various stages of undress. With all the hard core stuff on the net, Hammer and Brit horror fans would rather get one rather PG rated glimpse at the bustline of Marie Devereaux than the nastiest of the other stuff. Good for them.

The article was no misstep in my opionion. And was widely, and roundly, praised. That I cannot please every reader? That is sort of a given. You go with your gut feeling as to what LSoH should run, and stand for. I wish I had been able to run the rest of the Black Nylon Museum articles, but was not to be.

I will note I have a full frontal nude shot of Fiona Lewis (servant girl in THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS) that we will NOT run in the upcoming issue. In this case, the sexuality of the film is more cleavage and heaving bosoms than outright nudity. That photo would really be out of place.

LSoH 13, p.3: "More than a few friends thought it was out of place... Personally, I didn't. Yet I have decided not to run any more installments in LSoH... Would have been nice to see if there are any other 'arrested development' types like myself."

Dick, I agreed with your "more than a few friends" but maybe you should have obeyed market forces of your best selling issue and run it regardless. I have nothing but the highest regard for LSoH, partly because its editorial style is (99.9% of the time) just right.
