Well just the fact that my ~old~ version of FLESH AND BLOOD is killer in MY book, I can just imagine how much I'll be enjoying the new cut! And as far as "rockin da boat", there's always a whole in the bow with a drip drip drip....

Absolutely!  Flesh & Blood kick-started my interest in Hammer Films as a company and is a terrific overview, especially considering the limited means available in putting it together.  It's by far the best documentary on Hammer I've seen, and that includes the older BBC doc.  (There are a few things that I would change - but production and editing is part of my job, so I'm prone to critique everything I see).

On the accusation of unwanted intrusion into Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing's last meeting, Lee is on record describing his emotions during the narration session, as well as laughing at a few cartoons before bidding each other farewell one last time.

Therefore, the comment below doesn't make much sense to me.

the reporting of this very private moment by outsiders for fans to indulge in (ahh, look at the poor old dear close to death enjoying cartoons with a friend, isn't it magical?) is deeply patronising and certainly would have been met with a rebuff if countenanced by either Cushing or Lee during their prime years.
