That's an interesting story actually.  Bing Crosby was a part owner, and huge fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  When they made their way into the 1960 World Series, Crosby was reportedly a nervous wreck.  So much so that he took a trip to Europe so he'd be removed from the inning-to-inning, pitch-to-pitch anxiety of the final game.  But he left orders that the game be kinescoped so that he could watch it later, when the tension was removed.  It's theorized that he may have watched the film exactly once, in 1960.  Then left it where it was found 50 years later.  That film is the only existing video record of the entire game, one of the most famous in World Series history.
