I'll go first,

THE FILM- BLOOD AND ROSES
THE PERSON- Head of product development at Criterion

THE PITCH - I know there is a reasonably strong following for good European vampire movies, and Blood & Roses is known for being the first of it's kind, and hard to come by. It's also one of the first and best films to be based on Sheridan Le Fanu's "CARMILLA" which would be the inspiration for dozens of subsequent vampire films. Few have ever had a chance to see it with it's surreal dream-sequences and suggestive lesbian undertones intact. Blood & Roses was also directed by a notorious Euro-director, Charles Vadim, which I think would appeal to the Foriegn/Cult-film market that Criterion has already cultivated. It's easily one of Vadim's most artful and effective films, and I think a properly framed High-def transfer would be a revelation of it's gorgeous cinematography.

Paramount who owns the film has no interest in releasing it, but as you may already know does sub-license, and reportedly has decent elements to work with.

I think this film has been long awaited by some, and would have appeal even to those who may be unfamiliar with it.
