Upon a second viewing, I was very impressed with this aspect of the film. It's a damn good looking picture with lots of attention to details. I bet people felt robbed upon seeing it the first time that the film had no Dracula. No matter. It still packs a good punch. Both "rising" scenes are well done (except for the very thin layer of dirt perhaps). So far it has been my favorite of the Hammers, but I have quite a few more to see.
