Yes, Saturday, it's unfortunate that this reunion happened so late, but as you say, it's still fun and great to see the guys together again.

The Springfield was so much more than FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH, which seems to be the only one of their songs that gets constant radio play, and is often the one chosen to appear on 60s compilation albums. Even though the group was together for a very short time, the music they made is as good as, and in some cases better, than a lot of the stuff that came out in that era. FLYING ON THE GROUND IS WRONG; MR. SOUL; SIT DOWN I THINK I LOVE YOU; HUNG UPSIDE DOWN; BABY DON'T SCOLD ME; NOWADAYS CLANCY CAN'T EVEN SING; MY KIND OF LOVE; NEIGHBOR DON'T YOU WORRY; BROKEN ARROW; EXPECTING TO FLY; BLUEBIRD, etc. And apparently there's still quite a bit of unreleased material in the vaults, so maybe we haven't heard the last of Buffalo Springfield.

From the moment I picked up your book until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter.  Someday I intend reading it -- Groucho Marx
