Not sure how reliable this is, but I'm guessing the folks that do those Martha's Vineyard Jawsfests probably have been in touch with Universal.

And I agree a 36th anniversary release makes no sense. But I'd hate to think I've gotta wait for a 40th!
And while Wolfman is 70 this year, I don't know if I see a release coming so hard on the heels of the last one and the remake. But who knows? My dream is that Universal will be as generous with whatever release of the Monsters on blu as they were with those multi-film Legacy sets. The first tier titles would sell if only to the casual interest folks who buy them at Halloween time- Universal clearly has faith in this since they keep promoting the individual releases over and over again when the season hits. And folks round these parts would be happy to get the 2nd tier titles.
Unfortunately, I don't see much chance of ever seeing the Bela Lugosi Collection titles on Blu, since I don't think they have that immediate name recognition that Dracula does, but so far my copy of the last release hasn't frozen, so I guess the cup's half-full.
