Fine film, the 1984 Nineteen Eighty-Four, very well directed by Michael Radford, it is an extreme downer (how could it not be?), intelligently written and acted. I wonder whatever happened to the actress who played Julia, Suzanna Hamilton, who was quite the babe in the film, didn't build on it, or maybe didn't want to. There's an enigmatic quality to her in everything I've seen her in,--and it ain't much.
