My Recent Posts
Well, I have now seen everything that can be seen L&H wise. The last 3 Fox films were nothing but re-hashes of former bits from the Roach days for the most part. I kinda had fun with them. The very last scene of the very last one (THE BULLFIGHTERS), where they have been skined alive was probably the best thing in all of the Fox and MGMs of the 40s.
I actually liked NOTHING BUT TROUBLE because they came off as such nice guys in it. Sort of the way Hardy does in ZENOBIA.
All in all, it has been a great month or so hanging with the boys.
I should say a "Hey" to Joe for bringing this up in the first place and finally getting me to pick up the UK set. THANKS JOE!
