John, I know exactly what you're saying. I think I must have enjoyed Coppola's DRACULA better than you did, overall, and I really like that he kept the film studio-bound to give it such a stylized look. (I think FRANKENSTEIN would have looked better, had they kept that same approach...I also wish Coppola would have directed it, rather than just produced.)

I also understand how certain films can lose much of their impact at a drive-in. The first time I saw BLADE RUNNER, it was at a drive-in and I could hardly see half the film.
