I gotta thank all of you fellow L&H fans (well, I'm just a wannabe) for this thread, especially you Joe for getting it started.

I went on YouTube today just to see what free stuff was posted, and I found the 1927 silent "Putting Pants on Philip" which
I don't remember ever seeing.   What a little 19 minute gem.   The "schtick" where Stan's kilt is blown up when he walks
over the sidewalk heat/air vent may have been the genesis of the famous MM shoot?    or maybe even the Sierra Mist commercial
of a few years back when the Scottsman in the marching band has his kilt blown up?     No?
anyway, I'm going to try and "get into" L&H now.... maybe even by buying the British boxed set and an all-region blu-ray player.

Thanks guys and gals!
- Jay
p.s.  Are any of you involved in a local "Tent" of the Sons of the Desert?
