I just watched the colorized BLOTTO right after the B/W BLOTTO and it looked to me that there was plenty of speckles on the color version, there was also an annoying strobe flicker to the movements that makes me think they were either transferred from NTSC to PAL (poorly), or that it's a byproduct of the colorization.

I also looked at the Spanish BLOTTO, and the differences were almost as dramatic as the differences between the Spanish DRACULA to the Lugosi one. When Stan and Ollie are in the night club, before we get the heavy-handed crooner making them cry with a tear-jerker, we get what appears to be an obese man in drag doing a silly dance with a balloon!? This is followed by Stan emptying a entire seltzer-bottle into Ollie's crotch, then Ollie moving his wet chair to another table only to have another woman sit in the puddle on the seat. I'm not sure, but the gal that wet's her butt in Ollie's chair may be the wife from the English version. Then we get another floor show, a scantily clad gal who does something between a belly-dance and a bump-and grind. All-in-all it seems like the Spanish cut was willing to go a lot more low-brow than the domestic.
