Technically, true. But I have no problem with something that restores a movie to its original lustre, probably the way it looked on the big screen when it was released and viewed from a distance (because although grain is what makes the image, you're not supposed to notice a 'grainy movie' unless you walk up to a theatre's screen and stand right in front of it). Or, unless the filmmaker deliberately wanted their work in some shots or entire movies to appear "grainy".  

The only two places I have noticed was on some of the L&H films I was very familiar with, and THE BLACK CAT.


Too bad, as these are things I am eagerly anticipating!
