I watched Way Out West last night and was killing myself laughing. I haven't seen these guys (I did watch Chump/Oxford last week from another source) since I was a teenager and am kicking myself I haven't sought them out until now. Just SUCH playful, childlike humour. Deceptively simple, but so uproarious. When Laurel was being tickled... just almost painfully funny. And I just love that sound Hardy makes whenever he gets hurt. "OOOOHHHHHH!" So many good bits. Can't wait to delve further. Now Chaplin is the only major hole in my comedy collection. Some time down the road, I may also get some Lloyd and Langdon, but I have a LOT of Keaton and Laurel and Hardy to watch before then.
