I hope I'll be like you, Crom, but we'll see. I am usually very susceptible to this, and I spotted it immediately on just a short clip from YouTube, with Ollie Hardy's voice sounding unaturally high-pitched. I'm guessing that clip came from the UK set.

Just doing a quick googling took me to a chat over at DVDTALK regarding this subject, and many members said they were too bothered by the noticeable speed-up which eventually prevented them from really enjoying their PAL movies. Some also said it varies from player to player, or movie to movie. But boy, I don't relish the thought of listening to that wonderful Leroy Shield background music playing too fast.
