I really need to start scouring the 'net for information on little theater plays in the Los Angeles area; I've always enjoyed them, not just for the scripts and talents of the cast, but for the I-love-show-biz vibe of the whole enterprise.
One reason nurse Mackintosh may have been left out of the TV SUNSHINE BOYS is that the script was revised enough that the comedy team dated from the early days of television; I think dialogue with that much emphasis on the size of her boobs probably wouldn't have turned up on early TV.
Many years ago, we saw DRACULA: A MUSICAL NIGHTMARE, with Joe Spano in the lead.  It THE most inventive, unusual adaptation of the Stoker novel I've seen.  It deserves a revival.
