The deed is done. The set has been ordered.

After mulling this over for a long time, I figured that at a mere $40, even if one day a US edition of "The Complete L&H" finally comes to DVD, I can still re-buy the thing here if the presentation is somehow better than the UK set (which, as dhtreptow has said, is unlikely in either case anyway). So, I then would have 'wasted' only $40, nothing major to fret over. And in the meantime, I will have bought a Region Free Player for only around $100, which can play everything... and it's not a waste because I can now surf around and see if there are any foreign releases I can add that I may not have known about.

When I regularly try to convince fans to buy a Blu-ray player I always tell them it gives them the opportunity to watch both SD and Blu discs. So I figured this can also apply to me taking it a step further with buying a multi-region Blu-ray player.

When Best Buy opens this morning it'll be a visit there for me to see if they've got that Insignia player.
