I thought the world of Barry. He was a gentle and generous spirit. He was a good buddy. We used to sit together at the Cinema Wasteland conventions and talk the weekend away. One year, Ted Mikels was there screening MARK OF THE ASTRO ZOMBIES, and Barry was anxious to see it. We sat in the back of the room, swapping jokes and laughing like a couple of school kids all the way through the show. That's how I'll always remember him.

As Dr. Creep, he was one of the top horror hosts in the country. A class act and a classic host.

I'll miss him.
