Mike, with all due respect, and speaking perhaps only for myself (but perhaps not), I would dearly love to have a classic car in mint condition, but that is well beyond my financial means.

Now, if you were looking to know what classic car(s) I would like to own, I can certainly hold forth on that.

1) 1960 Chevy Corvette - loved this car since I first time I saw Todd driving it on ROUTE 66. Totally mid-century sexy.

2) 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham - May I please have this one in this particular orchid shade?

3) 1956 Continental Mark II - one of these used to be parked outside my dentist's office. I had to get there a few minutes before my appointment to stare and drool.

4) 1959 Buick (any model) - one of my favorite cars when I was a kid. It just totally set itself apart from any of its contemporaries. And this particular photo shows it in all its glory.

And this just scratches the surface. There are so many mid-century cars I love, and would love to have in restored condition.

So glad you started this thread because it gives me another excuse to dream.smiley: happy
