Yes, I have the Riding Hood trilogy from Ebay. Got it very cheap. I already had MONSTRUOS so now I have an extra if anyone wants to trade.
The Worldmedia DVD that I do not have is VILLIANS OF THE RING. Was this #11 in the series? I wonder if this is really a Rodriquez release. Does your copy's cover look like the Worldmedia series?
Yeah, I am also going through Santomania again. Seems to happen every couple of years.
Has anyone seen the 1952 film EL ENMASCARADO DE PLATA? I was amazed at how it comes off like a Republic serial. Even the locations at times look just like a Republic. It is very easy to follow without subs. Does the complete serial still exist? Someone on Amazon or IMBd says this was never released as a serial, but there are lobbies around to prove otherwise. Anyone know for sure?
I am going to pick up that McFarland book ASAP. Another to look for is MEXICAN HORROR CINEMA by Rogelio Agrasanchez, Jr. It is very well done with gorgeous color of many of the Mexican Horror films. Highly recomended but it may be OOP by now.
I just went on Ebay and the Worldmedia DVDs are even cheaper now. Maybe these are old scans and not Worldmedia at all.
