If streaming technology does become the law of the land, I wonder if the studios will have finally painted themselves into a financial corner. What I mean is as media evolved through the years they had a seemingly unlimited source of income selling and re-selling the same product over and over again. Think of all the mullah they raked in re-releasing versions of CASABLANCA from Super 8, 16mm, laser, vhs, dvd, and blu's. Once streaming becomes king where else are they to go? Is it possible that streaming may finally kill the golden goose?
