Roadkill
I rented about a week ago & found ... watchable, but then much like (as you note) you & Blackbiped I find just about everything watchable. It's not horrible, by any means, but neither is it anything special. I do think the director took a wrong step in showing us the truck processing its fuel, as it were, which for me made the whole thing a bit too comic-bookish (& I say that as one who quite likes comics in general, horror comics very much included). But then I suppose by that point it didn't matter -- it's not as if excising those scenes would've somehow resulted in a masterpiece.
Fragile
I meant to address earlier myself, but I don't think my thoughts would've been materially different from yours, except that I don't recall having any real problems with the lighting or lack thereof. The "mechanical girl" is indeed a spectre to be reckoned with, & the nature of her own injuries & those she inflicts are pretty harrowing. I seem to have liked
Darkness
a lot more than most horror fans, so I'm not sure I'd place this above that one, but again in my case that's hardly a criticism.
Pig Hunt
, as I mentioned in the
Haunting
thread, seemed to me to be something I wouldn't find particularly rewarding (I tend to prefer my cinematic menaces to be either human, supernatural or out-&-out monsters, rather than particularly lethal real-live animals -- for instance, I've never felt the slightest urge to see
Jaws
, heretical as I know that statement is). Needless to say, nothing written above has given me cause to consider changing my mind.
Grimm Love
(not reviewed here, at least not yet, but mentioned above by Yowza) I found ... well, again I find myself reaching for that old standby -- watchable. That's about it.
