Yes I can definitely see where that happened, the very last Fantasy Fair was sort of a sad affair. Oh well. My favorite AFF was in 1986 where Ralph Bakshi was in attendance.

The art shows in recent years at Dragoncon have been very nice, I remember an elaborate diorama of a skeleton army attacking a castle that was quite amazing from a few years back. The castle itself must have been 6 or 7 feet high. One of my favorite memories of Dragoncon is from 14, or 15 years ago talking to artist Ted McKeever, and he ended up dropping what he was doing so we could walk through the art show together and discuss what we saw. We were both amazed by the colours the Hildebrandt brothers were able to get in some of their work.
