Regarding horror films and their kin, there are quite a few I'd rather see discovered before LAM.  GO AND GET IT, THE WIZARD, A BLIND BARGAIN, the silent or talkie versions of THE TERROR -- perhaps even THE HAUNTED HOUSE or HOUSE OF HORROR given my appreciation for SEVEN FOOTPRINTS TO SATAN.  That said I'm not too quick to write off LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT as a mediocre or bad film despite contemporary reviews.  The box office should have a say as well and LAM did very respectible business.  But geez, those stills of Chaney and Tichenor as the Man in the Beaver Hat and Luna do look wonderfully gruesome, don't they?
