I was watching GHOST CHASERS as it was broadcast, and my teenage daughter comes in and asks 'what is this, the Bowery Boys?'. Lo and behold, she sits down to watch a bit of it, and starts laughing out loud in the right places. She actually thinks it's funny! She was particularly taken with Satch, the way he got along with the ghost, and all his silly mannerisms. I dunno, maybe it was the genre content that intrigued her. Whatever it was, it did the trick. And I of course enjoyed it all the more myself!

She had to go someplace before it was over, so I assured her she could watch the end later. Now that I've burned it to a disk, maybe we'll see if she'll actually sit down again with Satch, or if that was just some once in a blue moon fluke.
