Ahhh, my old archenemy from IMDb and Gmail. I was pretty familiar with his absurdities, but I never expected anything like this. I always figured he was really Harlan Ellison or some sort of luminary who had just created a wacky internet persona for trolling purposes. Now I just feel depressed and dirty. It's easy enough to laugh at guys like him and other notable eccentrics like COF publisher Calvin T. Beck and internet celeb Christian Weston Chandler, but when something like this happens....you just really don't know what to say.
I agree with roqueevolent's opinion on him though. Inspite of what "Froggy" did, and as unsympathetic as he may seem, this whole thing is a tragedy that should be seen as a cautionary tale, not as a chance to roll out the laughs at his expense. Some people just find real life too much to take, and it can be very funny AND scary when it happens, but it's still a tragedy nevertheless. For both the person in question and those around them. It just makes me glad that I have friends, loving family of both blood and otherwise, and have made accomplishments I can go to the grave proud of even if no one ever erects a statue of me.
And everyone else here who also has those things should be grateful that they do.
Nevertheless, I will still post a goodbye to him and acknowledge him as a worthy foe, and wish his life could have been different.
That's all I'm gonna say about this.
