The thing that annoys me is Paul Frees' voice coming out of the mouths of so many of the characters -- and even doing the grunting of some of the monsters, etc. When I'm trying to enjoy a movie and get into the story, I don't need Paul Frees' name flashing through my brain 75 times.

Reminds me of the time that we first went to Orlando - thirty years ago this weekend. We were in The Hall of Presidents and after about the fifth or sixth "President" spoke, my six-year-old son said "All the Presidents sound alike." Frees had done every voice in the exhibit.

When I was a kid my Dad and I went to the 1964 World's fair.  They had Disney's first try at the animatronic Presidents there.  When Abraham Lincoln opened his mouth to speak as a twisted 13-year-old Monsterkid I immediately recognized the very distinctive voice of Royal Dano.
