I always liked Berry Kroeger and I think he should have gotten more villainous roles in better films.  As far as ATLANTIS, THE LOST CONTINENT goes, its' many virtues outweigh ever so slightly its' many faults.  In other words, I'd spring for a dvd if one ever appears.

He had some of his best roles in the late forties and early fifties, including GUN CRAZY, BLACK MAGIC (in which he plays Alexandre Dumas Sr.!), and Fred Zinneman's ACT OF VIOLENCE, with Van Heflin, Janet Leigh, and Robert Ryan.  A great movie and Kroeger is at his creepiest in it.
