Ryan, as you enjoyed Stanford Jolley so much here -- in color -- just imagine that you could run ATLANTIS on a nifty double bill with Corman's HAUNTED PALACE (1964) for a positive night of Jolleys. (But seriously, if you are a true admirer of the veteran actor -- even in B/W -- have you seen Wm K Everson's old volume The Western Film, he runs a nice little portrait of the actor as a Western dandy from an untitled film.)

Good idea on the double bill.  And I'll have to pull Everson's book out again.  Haven't looked at it in some time.

I met Jolley once at a convention.  Prior to the big day I'd drawn a portrait of him that I wanted signed.  When he saw it he was so thrilled that he wanted to keep it!   Many years later I was working for an advertising company during a radio broadcast from a MacDonald's in Dallas.  A lady we interviewed turns out to be Jolley's niece or some such.  What a small world!
