This sums up my feelings exactly.  I have a Constitutional right and a sacred moral obligation of the highest order to watch this movie and see if it is really the worst movie ever made as some say, or merely an entertainingly putrid stinker.
  

*Off the topic, but this is a thread I started---I had no idea Jim Davis was ever an MGM contract player.  That is interesting.  I think he was very well served by moving to little Republic.  He would probably have been wasted in "tux and sucks" roles at MGM and be completely forgotten today.  Republic certainly exploited his stengths.
