With the barrage of coupons they've been e-mailing out lately to REWARDS members (30 - 40% off), BORDERS "net-net" prices are pretty close to what Amazon or Deep Discount offers. The only problem is that the member is usually limited to purchasing a single item to get the discount (Box DVD sets being a recent exception), meaning you have to drive to the store every week (wasting gas) & hope that what you want might be in stock. Makes no sense.

Soon, most BORDERS locations will be selling used clothing (& the sign on the storefront will say "GOODWILL"....or "JOE'S FLEA MARKET").

They're doomed (and BARNES & NOBLE will be right behind them).

I'm not happy, though.
