No way. Both Arnold and Alland were professionals and they knew what makes a good and filmable story.

I'm talking about people who we might call "frustrated writers." People who have never written anything professionally but see tampering with what someone else has written -- which is never for the better -- as their big chance.

There are also people who say they'll invest in your movie IF you put a certain actress -- i.e., their wife or  girlfriend -- in the lead role. And she's too old, unattractive and can't act.
