Funny..I just asked my wife (born in '66) who she would consider the most famous science fiction writers (which she is a fan). Her response was Heinlein, Asimov and P. Dick (and today maybe William Gibson). though her favorites are Le Guin, Silverberg, and Tepper. Bradbury didn't even come up until I mentioned him and she thinks of him as more than just sci-fi - (fantasy and horror). I was born in '56 and Bradbury is the first name that popped into my mind.
