I'd also call Edgar Rice Burroughs more famous.

I wonder if Bradbury even makes the top ten list of famous ones.....
Tarzan is famous, but Burroughs?  I doubt his name is really that well known among the general public, and if it is, it's for Tarzan, and not John Carter of Mars or Pellucidar. ("Burroughs?  Didn't he make office machines in the old days?") Bradbury is well known to the general public in part because FAHRENHEIT 451 and some of his other works are frequently taught in schools.  A lot of people who never read science fiction for pleasure have some Bradbury assigned to them during their school years.

As for Alland's contributions to ICFOS, does he have ANY documentation to back up his claims, or just a lot of talk?  Too bad he couldn't bring any of his great artistic vision to anything he made without Jack Arnold.
