By the way, for a long stretch I'd say Michael Crichton was about a million times better-known than Ray Bradbury. During the years when it was hot, try finding somebody who hadn't read or seen the movie or at least heard of JURASSIC PARK and some of his other works. Then try to find somebody, ANYbody, who'd even faintly heard of THE ILLUSTRATED MAN, or MARTIAN CHRONICLES, or the title with the Dandy-Lions in it, or ... or ... ummmm ... he DID do more, didn't he?

Oh well. I guess some fans today believe that the way they think of things is the way it is.
