<< Bradbury was then, and is now, the most famous science fiction writer on Earth <<

..... in an era when that, and a nickel, would get you a cup of coffee. He made $300 a week as an IT CAME FROM O.S. screenwriter. I bet Nestor Paiva made more than that a week on CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON!

Wellllll, maybe Bradbury had a crummy agent.

<< Bradbury was then, and is now, the most famous science fiction writer on Earth <<

I think Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, etc., might disagree. I'd hope Bradbury would disagree! WAR OF THE WORLDS, INVISIBLE MAN, JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH, on and on -- such classics. I'd hate to have to walk across America until I met somebody who ever read (or even just simply heard of) THE ILLUSTRATED MAN!
