Bud Abbott was an epileptic and eating ice cream would not have harmed him in the least, except perhaps in his stomach where it might not have mixed well with whatever 90 proof content was also taking space in there. All speculative, of course- perhaps it wasn't ice cream (which would quickly melt under studio lights) but that white school paste we all used at one time or another as kids. Like many other kids, I've tasted
that
too, and to tell you the truth, it wasn't too bad.
Okay, here are shots of the two possible girls who may or may not be Gloria Talbott-
The ponytailed girl resembles Gloria, but look how short she is- she does appear to be similar facially and it's quite possible- her age and the year (1951) should be about right. I put up the girl that "looks like a banana" simply to rule her out since she's the only other brunette and she's got the banged (no jokes) haircut.
Here is "Wild Red" Barry, clearly not Donald "Red" Barry, or "Wild" Lou Costello for that matter. apparently he was a famous/semi famous wrestler.
