Another point in the KONG WINS category: if Godzilla "sent Kong packing," then what the hell did Godzilla do next? Godzilla was stomping towards Tokyo for the entire film and only driven away by Kong. Godzilla won the first fight and stayed on his course. If - IF - at the end Godzilla is sitting underwater while Kong swims away, shouldn't Godzilla just climb out and continue his path towards Tokyo?

In Godzilla's mind isn't it simply TOKYO, TOKYO, TOKYO, FIGHT WITH BIG APE, TOKYO, TOKYO, FIGHT WITH BIG APE AGAIN, SIT UNDERWATER AND BLOW BUBBLES...

If Godzilla won, and is completely fine, he ought to get out and continue doing what he was doing.

Of course, this isn't the case.

As mentioned earlier, Kong was supposed to defend Tokyo from Godzilla stomping. Kong did. Whatever else you want to say, Godzilla was stopped from reaching his goal.
