ANY good book on movies that was written before the home video era -- my respect for it is TRIPLED, or more, just knowing that these guys were usually at the mercy of their local TV stations as to what movies they could re-watch/NOT re-watch. And if they blinked and missed something they wanted to check out ... well, they had to cross their fingers that the movie would run AGAIN in the next year or two, and that they WOULDN'T blink THAT time. Sheesh!
