I thought the film was pretty fun. It's actually more of a gothic romance/horror in the Wutherining Heights mode, with the young woman finding the possibility of love only to loose it for some mysterious reason, so she has to search for answers in a hostile environment. 'twas fun, and all that Beverly Garland on screen kept me interested throughout.

But here is a question - I seem to remember a few years ago that somebody got sued for creating a hostile workplace because two co-workers thought the film was hilarious and kept saying the line "I'll kill you, alligator man", which another co-worker thought was a veiled threat and complained enough to bring the case to court. Does anybody else remember that incident, and if the film fans won or lost?
