Actually, I found this to be an interesting film. I thought the story was appealing and Beverly Garland's performance was effective.

Of course the 'gator costume was hilarious, but I thought the swampy surroundings were effectively filmed and the creepy feeling that gators, snakes and other "monsters" was quite evident.

This is by no means a good film, but on the silly side of horror, this one actually did have a few things going for it. Chaney hadn't fallen apart completely so his appearance on screen was welcome and he played his part with gusto. I wasn't sad to see him as I am in things like "Frankenstein vs. Dracula".

It's silly fun.
