Many people did not know that Carmine Nigro also:
1) Doubled Humphrey Bogart's hands in CASABLANCA in the insert shot at the Paris train station, where Rick reads the farewell letter from Ilsa in the rain
2) Was the original "Number 1 Son" in the Universal "Charlie Chan" movies
3) Was Clark Gable's stuntman in the long shots of GONE WITH THE WIND and did his dance scenes in PARNELL
4) Substituted for the ailing Bela Lugosi as the werewolf in FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN
5) Starred in 13 episodes of ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN in 1954 when George Reeves left in a wage dispute. These episodes were all destroyed.
6) In a cheap wig and frowsy housedress, played "Mrs. Bates" in Hitchcock's PSYCHORAMA
7) Coached and secretly directed Buster Keaton's comedy bits in his last appearance, WHATEVER HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM OF GENERALS?
8 ) Was married to Marilyn Monroe for eight years while she was also married to Joe diMaggio.
9) Served as Jane Russell's personal fluffer in THE FRENCH LINE
10) Murdered Errol Flynn in 1956.
11) Invented the "video assist" in 1953, then sold the patent to Jerry Lewis for a dollar.
12) Plays seven different roles in Roger Corman's MY DINNER WITH ANDRE, in various disguises.
13) Personally coined the nickname "Willy Lump Lump" for the Blob in THE BLOB.
*-- sorry. I put an extra "V" in the header.
